Can Liverpool Secure champions league Spot ?

Liverpool FC have been playing some good football lately , with the arrivals of Henderson, Enrique,Bellamy,Downing, Adam, Coates ,and the return of Steven Garrard ,Liverpool certainly have the depth in squad needed to compete on all fronts. Currently sitting 6th on league standings with a away win over man city in the carling cup quarter final. Liverpool has definitely shown the ability to compete with the top teams in the league. One thing remains obvious they are in dire need of a potent striker.

With Suarez serving a 9 game ban  and Carroll showing no singe  of revival, Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish will definitely be looking to inject some fire power into his goal shy team.january transfer dealings can be very difficult , as teams are unwilling to lose key players . Liverpool have recently been linked with the likes of Daren Bent , and Huntelaar.A hefty sum  would be needed to praise these players away from their current clubs. a 100 million spent  in the summer ,some may say  Liverpool over paid for some players but let’s not forget almost  half of what was spend was received from the Torres sale. The appointment of Damien Comoli has been a revelation, he can be credited for the signings of albe, Coates two promising youngsters who will no doubt prove their worth in the coming years .if Liverpool are to make a charge for the top four finish I believe they will need a more experienced and quality striker .it cannot be argued that Dalglish prefers local players, who have premier league experience. Carlos Tevez is one name still to be associated with Liverpool, on paper Tevez seems to be the perfect candidate for Liverpool.hard working, skill full and full of premiere experience . with presence of the south American contingent at Melwood he will surly fit in well, however it is unlikely that man city would sell a player of tevezs caliber to direct compitition. Then again who would have imagined Barcelona selling Figo to Real Madrid?  With poor performances from Chelsea and the injury crises at united, Liverpool are presented with real opportunity to make it to the top four. Liverpools transfers dealings will surly have great effect on the sucess rate of liverpools season. fingers crosses ill  defnetly be sendind some twitts @KennethDalglish
