Chelsea Go Through and Bayern Munich Dreaming of a Home Turf Final ,

With a goal advantage .the Bavarians are looking to finish what they started at the Allianz arena last week. Bayern captain Philip lahm kept Madrid mercurial winger; Cristiano Ronaldo quiet throughout the match. Eventually Forcing him  to switch sides in order to avoid the German internationals constant harassment .Frank Ribery also put in a good display creating multiple scoring opportunities for his teammates  and  managing to get on the score sheet himself. The French winger was left frustrated at times  being fouled in the Madrid 18 yard box  and having his shouts  for a penalty shot dismissed  by the match official.  Another player who eventually rose to the occasion was German forward Mario Gomez; he seemed to make all the right moves forcing two great saves from Spanish keeper iker Casilias. He too seemed to have been fouled at least on two occasions, but the English Referee Howard Webb waved away the forwards cries for a spot kick.  He eventually managed to give his team the advantage, after latching on to Philip Lahms low cross from the left in the dying minutes of the game.
Bayern will look to attack and build on their one goal advantage as every goal for Bayern counts as two for the Spanish league leaders. Bayern Munich have won 11 of the last 13 games in all competitions.  They have only managed one win in their last 4 champion’s league away games this season.
Bayern coach Jupp Heynckes had the following to say speaking to the press on Tuesday:
"I'm satisfied with our attitude and determination. We deserved the win, it will be morale-boosting, and we go to Madrid full of confidence and belief. We're always capable of scoring away from home so I'm optimistic."

Real Madrid is high on moral after beating their arch rivals Barcelona away from home. They now have a 7 point lead over the Catalan 11 and will look to reach the final of the champion’s league for the first time since 2002. They must play much better however if they are to try and turn the goal deficit into victory.
Real coach José Mourinho hopes that lady luck might be on his side this time round as he hold a poor record in the semi finals of the competition losing 3 out of 5. Never shy of controversy he was quick to emphasize on poor refereeing.  Speaking to the mass media during the pre game press conference he said:

"I have not had that much luck in semi-finals," I lost one (against Liverpool) when the ball did not cross the line - which was unbelievable”.
"Another season (in 2007) I lost on penalties - which is more an issue of bad luck - and last season (against Barca) I lost the semi-final in a way that everyone knows about.

Bayern Players questioned the match officials decitions on multiple occasions in the first leg of the fixture
"This time I hope to win although we lost the first leg to a goal that was offside," "The referee was (generally) very good, he made a mistake but we all make mistakes, me too."

the winner of the game faces Chelsea in Final of the tournament, should Bayern go through  ,they will play a home turf final against the English side.this will be a great chance for the German team to win the competition for the 5th time in their history. it easier said then done as they must first overcome the  compition favorites and then beat the team who knocked Barcelona out of the tournament with tenacious defending .

Probable lineups
Real Madrid has a full squad, the only thing the manager is worried about is the players walking the suspension tight rope, as a yellow card for any of the players who already have accumulated two yellow cards means they miss the final if real were to go through Xabi Alonso, Fabio Coentrao, Gonzalo Higuain and Sergio Ramos will have to be very cautious when challenging opponents for the ball.

Casillas
Arbeloa, Pepe, Ramos, Marcelo
Khedira, Alonso
Di Maria, Ozil, Ronaldo
Benzema

It’s very simple for Madrid they will have to try and attack, and not get caught on the counter, as I don’t think anyone one the los Blanco’s squad can out pace Frank Ribery. German international and Real number 10 will try to find Karim benzema through Bayern defenders, as the French striker is almost like a ghost when trying to get away from his opponent. Look out for Ronaldo trying a few dipping shots from outside the box. If the Mourinho feels the Germans are parking the bus(sitting back and defending) , it’s like that he brings Brazilian playmaker Kaka on the field for extra creativity.

Bayern Munich have seven players walking the suspension tight rope, influential captain Philippe Lahm ,and young forward Thomas muller included in the list.

Neuer
Lahm, Boateng, Badstuber, Alaba
Gustavo, Schweinsteiger
Robben, Kroos, Ribery
Gomez

The Germans will look to shut out their opponents and score a precious away goal to seal the game, after that it’s just sit back, and soak up all the pressure. They must be clinical in theory finishing this time around however as fate does not forgive easily at this stage of the game.

Final verdict

real Madrid may look the better team on paper, but if im to take what i saw the last time these two teams met,i must give this game to buyern , they were unlucky not to score more then two goals, and deserved a penalty at lest on one occasion. i believe tactic play very important role at this stage, and bayern tactically play a better game then Real  madird who are very much reliant on the individual efforts of their star players . i see them advanced by one goal on aggregate.

Real Madrid                Bayern Munich
2                                            2
