Its Derby Time as Two Teams Fight For The Throne of Manchester

With four victories in the last five away fixtures Manchester united take a short trip to Rowley St. to visit the Etihad stadium. The two clubs are neck and neck on top of the premier league standings, with united ahead by three points.A win for the hosts would put them on top only because of a better goal difference an  away win  for the red devils and they will be only a point away from securing their 20Th league title. Manchester city remain undefeated in 18 home games in the domestic competition, And are not looking to lose this record to their rivals.
A lot of noise from both camps, latest coming from united goal keeper David de Gea, the former athletic Madrid player in a press confrere said:
“The ambiance will be electric and the fans will be against us but I won't be affected.
“I have played at the Bernabeu, Camp Nou, Turkey, Greece and Italy. I actually play better in these situations. My team-mates have been very motivated during this week's training sessions. We know what we are fighting for and we know that we will play a final tonight”.

Carlos Tevez whose conteversial move across the divide from the red camp to the blue added even more fire to the rivalry. Believes his team is capable of securing the clubs 3rd league title in its history. He had the following to say when questioned about the upcoming fixture
"Nobody thinks about losing. We just know what the game means to so many people, people who’ve been waiting for years and years for the chance to bring this title back to City.Every season it’s important for the fans we beat United, but if we win in the derby and then go on to win the title, I can’t imagine how emotional the supporters will be”

The derby has produced some magical moments throughout the years

Argentine Sergio Aguero will be looking to get on the score sheet as hi currently sits 3rd on the leagues scoring chart, trailing Second place Wayne Rooney with 4 goals. both players have been crucial to their clubs this season , it remains to be seen how they will fare against each other in the exciting and explosive derby.

Line Ups Injuries

Italian Striker Mario Baloteli returns to the city squad after serving a 3 match ban. City defender and England hope full Micah Richards also return and will be looking to put a good performance as the National European competition is nearing.

city will look for inspiration from the creativity of both Nasri , and  David Silva ,as they are a major attacking force , when they line up with  tevez ,and aguero , i dont think there is a general plan, you just send them out and tell em do what you  do best .

Portuguese winger Louise Nani  picked up a knock during training , and is expected to recover in time for the big game , young defender Johnny Evans is also a doubt but its most likely that he will make , it if not Carrick will have to cover in the center of the defense . as the young Phil Jones who impressed during the first half of the season cannot hold down a first team place.

The United Wingers have their work cut out form them as they play against probably the two best side backs in the league  Nanis trickery and Valencia s pure Drive ,its likely that united will create a some scoring opportunities from crosses coming  from the wingers.

Final Verdict

the Manchester city attack will be too much for the make shift united deference, and as in any derby both teams will try to score as many as possible ,
