Sunderland Visit the Old Trafford in their quest for survival .

Two points clear of the drop zone Sunderland are holding on to premiere league by the skin of their teeth. today they visit old Trafford to face off against Manchester United in their quest to stay afloat . the red devils fortress  has not been so intimidating to visiting  this season as they have only won  twice in their last 5 home games.Club legend ,Ryan Giggs was given  given the interim manger role, at week ,and led United to a 4-0 victory in his first game .United's Executives  are currently on the hunt for a suitable replacement  as the last replacement for the retiring Sir Alex Ferguson failed to live up to the job, and failed to get performance required form his players.united are currently 7th with 60 points ,having won 3of their last 5 home games, if last weeks performance was a sign of things to come  ,then we can confidently expect united to get the 3 points in today's game .  


Sunderland Knocked United out of the Fa cup this season 

On the opposite end of the pitch ,things are not that different ,Sunderland had to get rid of their newly appointed manger mid-season, and appoint a new one in Gus Poyet. they  are currently 18th with 32 points Having only one victory to their name ,in their last 5 away games. but a team in relegation battle cannot be dismissed easily, they will fight to the last minute to secure the 3 points they need, in order to stay in the first division next season.

Injury News  

 United have no real injuries to worry about ,Rafael being the only injury concern for Ryan Giggs. he has plenty to pick from , with youngsters Phil jones and Chris Smalling able to fill the position. 
Sunderland will be ,without the services of  attacking midfielder  Sun-yun -Ki ,and midfielder S.Fletcher. Liverpool Loanee Fabio Borini ,and Adam Johnson are likely to start the match .
