Real's hunt for the 10th champions league trophy is coming to an end  as they take on their neighbours Atletico in the final match of the champions league tournament . 

Atletico madrid are the surprise finalist of the tournament this year.with great passing football and fluent movement , atletico have slayed giants of the tournament in matchups against chelsea , and barcelona. of course we know that atletico win over chelsea had nothing to do with the athlete's ability and the real reason chelsea lost the match was their lack of strikers up front. or at least this is what chelsea manager jose mourinho believes , never mind the fact that chelsea have what some call the best offensive and defensive players in the world right now.someone needs to tell mourinho that the bubble he lives in isn't real.

atletico Celebrate winning the la liga for the first time in 24 years

Real Madrid just lost out the La liga title to Atletico last week. atletico put a great fight against barcelona in their final match of the season and won the title for the first time in 24 years. Liverpool players take note. The Mattress makers as their fans call them ,Atletico remain undefeated in their last 12 champions leagues games. they will to complete the double by beating The spanish giants Real in the final that is to be played in Estadio Da Luz in lisbon Portugal.

Speaking of Portugal we cannot dismiss the presence of the worlds current best player Cristiano Ronaldo,who has scored 16 goals in the tournament so far , and will look to add to that tally. he is blessed with technically able teammates in Gareth bale , Luka Modric, And Angel Di Maria. this makes the job for the blancos all the easier.Los blancos have one defeat in their last 10 champions league games , and will make sure not to lose the most important game of the whole tournament.(No SH**T Einstein!)

Injury/team News

Athleticos first choice striker Diego Costa, and Creative attacker Arda Turan are both likely to miss the game after the pair picked injuries in the first half of their last la liga match. its not big worry however as atletico  have plenty of talent to fill their roles in Adrian ,And Brazilian Diego. 

Real Madrid's only concern will be the unavailability of Xabi Alonso who is serving a ban for getting booked against bayern munch in the  second leg of the semi finals. 

Score prediction 

atletico are likely to play a more defensive game. and let real hold ball possession. as real attacking players are not so keen on tracking back, atletico will rely on quick counter attacks in order to get the edge over their rivals. this might not be wise move ,but as we saw in the real bayern match , REal madrid are very very quick n the counter, so the safest bet is sit back and hope that real get a bit comfortable.

The Mid Table versus the Formidable

Real Madrid is the formidable football biggie with top names like world’s top player Cristiano Ronaldo, Welsh winger Gareth Bale and Argentinean winger Angel di Maria. With 84 points from 36 matches, Real have 3 wins and 2 back to back draws in their last 5 games. These draws against Valencia and Real Valladolid have all but evaporated their chances at the La Liga title.

On the other hand, Celta Vigo is just another bottom scraper team standing 9th with 46 points, just one position ahead of Valencia. They have 3 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss in their last 5 games. They lost their last game against Madrid by 3-0. So yes; on paper there is hardly any comparison between the two.
But then, that’s the beauty of football. It all depends on which team plays better on the given day.

Real may be the firm favourite but a La Liga match is always a big deal. Also, as Real still have a slim mathematical possibility of grabbing the title for themselves ahead of Atletico and Barca, you know that they will give their all to the match. Even if that were to be a lost cause, Carlo Ancelotti’s boys will still play hard to uproot Barca from the second spot.

Star Players to watch out for
Real’s lineup is the kinds that will give inferiority complex to any team. Ronaldo, Bale, Maria and many more, the team is a powerhouse of top talent. Ronaldo is in fine form with 15 goals. Bale is a match winner to watch out for (remember Copa del Ray!) and Maria has totalled 13 assists. Sergio Ramos is another player to watch out for.

Celta may prefer Sergio Alvarez in goal after he made his first appearance of the season in place of Yoel.

Injury and team news

Cristiano Ronaldo suffered a minor injury in the last match but should be good to play on Sunday. Defender Pepe however is likely to sit out the match due to injury. Plus, the team looks tired after 3 matches in 7 days.

Bayern Vs Real Madird Champions League Semi finals

Real Madrid got on to scoring early , when a Scorching header by Sergio Ramos from a Corner kick in the 15tth minute mark found the back of Bayern's net. Bayern Kept passing the ball around after this.Real further cemented their position minutes after ,as Ramos Again latched on to Angel Di Maria's Cross form the set piece.Now 3goals  down on aggregate Bayern again kept passing the ball around. another quick counter form Real caught Bayern on the back foot ,Bale rushed forward and side footed the ball to Ronaldo , who smashed it into the  Net ,scoring his 15th goal in 10 matches in the champions league tournament .At this point Bayern Manager pep Guardiola told the assistant coach to get Messi ready ,and warmed up  , his assistant coach reminded  him that he is no longer the manager of Barcelona and could not use Messi as power card , a little tea dropped down Guardiola's cheek. realizing his limited options ,he instructed the players to go to plan B ,which was to pass the ball around some more.

  

The first half ended ,and Bayern were down 4 goals to nil on aggregate. Second half kicked off ,and Bayern  kept to their one dimensional game plan and kept passing the ball around , they planned to  pass the ball around till the Real players fell a sleep .that didn’t happen much to the disappointment of Bayern's players .Then came the 89th minute where Ronaldo slipped the ball beneath Bayern's wall ,from a set piece ,and then it was game over , Real  Madird had reached the final in an emphatic victory over last years champions.
