Ashley Aka Cashley , has been of the most consistent left backs in the last decade.The English international has won many trophies in his career. the majority of which he won covering Chelsea's left flank.he has been refereed to as the best defender in the world by his fellow teams mates ,and opposition players alike. Cristiano Ronaldo was famously asked who he hated playing against ,and Ronaldo was quick to name Ashley Cole ,saying that he has never met or played against such a stubborn defender , Ronaldo said that no matter how many you got passed Ashley ,he would still come back and try to win the ball off you .  

the 5 ft 9 inch Londoner started his career at Arsenal rising from the youth ranks. he made 228 appearance's in the red and white shirt , before the blue neighbors came calling .having won two premiere league titles and three Fa Cups ,Cole Left Arsenal to start a new adventure ,and became an integral part of Mourinho's Chelsea. Ashley went on to add more trophies to his cabinet , winning the premiere in 2009 , 4 Fa cups ,and a champions league trophy.  

Cole made his international debut for the three lions (England's National Soccer team) in 2001 ,and took part in three world cup tournaments (2002,2006,2010) and two Euro Cup tournament (2004,2012).with 100 caps in the white shirt , he is the most capped Full back in England's national team history. he was name England player of the year in 2010 . 

Personal Life 

the only notable things in his personal life is that he was married ,to the beautiful Singer Cheryl Tweedy(Cole) ,and interestingly he is a distant relative of America's sweet heart Mariah Carey .  

Where is he now ? 

Ashley is still a regular starter for Chelsea at 33 years of age , and he is likely to be called in for the Brazil 2014 world cup tournament .
